Hi -

Has anyone else got the problem that they can't upload a new avatar? I tried to and it didn't work - and I can't now return to my old one either

I think Ace of Kev had the same issue Kati ... best chat up Mandrake and see if he knows anything.

I can't see anything in your Profile which indicates a problem but there's certainly no Avatar showing at the moment.

I was unable to load one up from forum gallery but had no difficulties uploading one from my computer.

I can't remember telling you, it must be becuase I put a picture in my signature to try and make my posts look more colourful, but It didn't work

I miss avatars :evil:

I uploaded one the other day without problems, but then we have had a new release of software applied recently, so there may be a problem.

Was there an error message involved?

Nope...I took off the avatar because I didn't like the broken picture but what happened was that I tried to upload a new avatar to see whether it worked ('twas an animated gif, way over the size limit but I was hosting it on my own site) and it didn't. After that I tried to put up a new non-animater avatar and it came up with a broken image...

Could everyone that had avatar problems please try and reload them. I have it under good authority that the problem has now been fixed...
