The only levitation I know that uses no threads are Fearson's "Easyfloat" and the "Hovercard"... All other levitation uses IT or some gimmicks.

Hummer Card

Postby Allen Tipton » Nov 30th, '05, 18:13

:) Eagleeye. WHY are you so afraid of 'string' ? I don't know of any levitation that looks good without it. Most of the others have the car hover a little off the deck so thay work mainly with the spectator looking down on the cards. They 'all' have angles. 'String' had no angles only light danger. There is a booklet on the Hummer Card by Jon Jensen at £8. BUT check out the small book,of 30 pages, The UFO Whirling Card, Helicopter Card by Geno Munari & Mark Blais, published by Houdini's Magic Shop, Las Vegas. Some English dealers carry it but I can't remember which one I bought it from. Various floating and moving card effects including floating round your body but you still need 'string' What a quaint word to describe IT, although the Tannen rip off of Ralf (Braco) Wichmann's 'Floating Routines For Table & Stage 'book was given the title, The String Book! If you're in a Magic Club see if their library has Billy McComb's 25 Years Wiser. Check out pages 51 to 54, Frolics With The Hummer Whirling Card.

Where on earth do you get thread that can support the weight of a car ?

Hello?

You know it's against the rules to reveal company secrets.
If you want to find out how the hummer trick works, just buy it. I am currently selling it for 5 dollars which is half price of most people.
