CLUBBING TOGETHER FOR NEW AGE MAGIC

Postby dat8962 » Dec 1st, '05, 22:58

I read with some interest the above headline in tonights Bournemouth Echo which is all about the towns newest night spot. I've ommitted the name of the club.

Want to put a little magic back into your night out on the town? Fed up with cavernous drinking barns with barely a chair in sight?

A new club in Bournemouth is planning to offer beds alongside the bar, magical performance artists and palm reading as you pay for your drinks.

The club that is being launched is picking up on the popularity of alternative therapies and the growing interest in TV shows such as Most Haunted and Sixth Sense.

Alongside the more traditional top DJ spots, the club will also offer Tarot card readings and even shishas. Staff are currently being trained in palmistry.

Performance artists are due to serve up helpings of magical theatre along the lines of the famous German Roncalli Circus - and there will even be a permanent aura camera to capture your personal energy on film.

Top astrologer Derek Hawkins is currently evaluating the birth charts of prospective staff members in the run up to the launch of the club on December 10th. Even the building itself hasn't escaped, with "clearers" brought in to rid the site of any negative paranormal energies.

Now I don't know about you but to me, this looks like a load of people playing around with things that they don't understand in order to make a fast buck. How many 'mind freaked' drunk teenagers will be turning out onto the streets in the early hours?

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

Can you imagine the coverage they'll get when someone doesn't get a job, not on grounds of age, race or sexuality, but because Derek bloody Hawkins says their birth chart is all wrong? :D :D :D :D

It's just a variation of the old Tea Room operation. If you can find a copy of Blair Robertson's MONEY MAKING METHODS FOR MENTALISTS (book 1) he outlines how it works and the insane profit margins it delivers.

You may want to hold to a skeptic's or cynic's position in your own life, but most of the world lives in much a contrary manner and will "believe" and patronize Readers, etc. no matter what. In this instance however, I'd say it all fits into that "for entertainment purposes" gap most claim to be ok.
