Hi there chapps,

I'm hoping you can help with this one ... i remember a couple of years back, back in the day when i was a layman, well ... more of anyway!

I was watching a TV special on magic, and there was a guy who was producing cards left, right and center ... he started with a bunch of cards in his hands and then made them all disapear 1 by 1 ... then proceeded to produce them again 1 by 1 ... all from back palms and things like that i guess ... i've never seen a production sequence like it since.

Does anyone have a reccomendation where i might be able to see this clip or one similar?

Thanks,

Rob

try and find a clip of Cardini, it'll be a black and white film with Cardini in his tux wearing gloves which shows how good he was... try doing backpalm productions wearing cotton gloves!

I'm not saying that Jeff McBrids is as good as Cardini etc. but he teaches plenty of productions on TAOCM vol.1...

The guys that rock at this are:

Jeff Sheridan (he taught McBride)

Romaine Monarch of The Manipulators (Not Romain Monarch of The Lettuces)

Norm Neilson

Jeff Mcbride

And the grand-daddy of them all:

Cardini

There's performance videos of all of them out there doing their stuff if you look hard enough.

If you want to learn, get McBride's and Sheridan's DVD's. Romaine is in third place with his DVD!

Producing multiple fans really frys spectators. Beware however, if you're new to this stuff it is generally regarded as the most difficult branch of cards.

Kati, don't you think it would help to explain what TAOCM stands for if Rob (or somebody else) is looking to learn these moves?

To make it look good anyway, but I'm sure you already knew that.

Thank you for that chapps,

I'll have a hunt round for some footage ... to be honest, learning this sort of thing doesnt really attract me, its great for stage magic, but i think that its not a really a closeup thin due to the angle sensitivity .... that said, love watching in.

Thanks,

Rob

i agree with the_mog

I have also seen cardini do a routine with cards, his act is great as he acts a little Tipsy and acts as if the cards are just appearing without him even wanting them to

actually thinking about it- it was done really well
