Postby Fireheat » Dec 10th, '05, 12:34

Although its not me, I really like to see the moves.

Does anyone know who this guy is? 'Cause i dont know him, never heard of him before.
I wish i could do that.

He's Jonas Hugland.

He's who inspired me to do flourishes. Most of his moves are Dan and Dave Buck cuts.

well he has certainly enspired me as well! It looks amazing! I've never really been interested in flourishes, so time to start practising...

On a side note, how long have you been "flourishing" to get as good as you are now Stevebo?

Err... I've been flourishes for I'd say around half a year now. Still got a long way to go.

If you put your heart into it, I'm sure you can do it easily. :D

lol. Don't worry, it's easier than it looks.

That particular cut is called the Helicopter Cut by Jerry Cestkowski and can be learnt from the Encyclopedia of Playing Card Flourishes. It's actually a very simple cut to learn. I thought it was going to be hard at first but then looking at Harwin's video, it became so much easier.

That is some nice flourish work I've been working through Dan and Daves SYSTEM for about 6/7 months now and getting a few down quite well (Stumpy finger syndrome makes KRYPONITE quite difficult but it's nearly there).

I haven't worked on Kryptonite much. Might start later. I've got the notes for it too.
