The Sylvester Pitch

I do a comedic routine as a guy who walks into a casino and tries to get a job as a poker dealer. He is given a deck of cards and does riffle shuffles, overhand shuffles, the wedge, block, and chop shuffles. He does table cuts, triple cuts, drop cuts, and various other exotic cuts....but the cards are never mixed up.
Then this character, Stash (a off-beat Polish-accented guy) tries for a job as a chip handler. Here he shows the flip, twirl, back to front, combination, knuckle roll, and the butterfly. But the boss wants someone who will "bring in chips to the house".
Stash then shows chips appearing out of this air (using the Sylvester pitch). Finally the Boss tells Stash to, "Get the hell out of here".

I've been using poker chips rather than silver dollars in the Sylvester Pitch. The chips do not "clink" like the coins. They also weigh much less, and don't sag in my pockets. Eight silver dollars are quite heavy.

Silver dollars and poker chips are the same diameter and about the same width

Sounds like a great routine and you have just given me a great Idea for a transpo.

Thank you

It's funny how one reader thanks me for my post, and got a great idea from it; and another calls it a shameless plug.
