Congrats on the impending nuptials! There are so many places there which offer magic you'll be spoiled for choice. Plenty of time using Google is probably the best way to see what's currently on offer!

Jags,

I would highly recommend Penn & Teller's show at the Rio. I just saw it back in November. Definitely worth checking out. I'm going back for my wedding next February! Getting married in the Venetian hotel.

I know they change effects and certain elements each night, but if you happen to see Teller do the fish bowl trick, let me know what you think of it. It blew my mind!

Lance Burton is also a great show, naturally. You can also grab a city guide

Dixie Dooley has a show at the Sahara (which I believe is free). Xtreme Magic Starring Dirk Arthur at the Tropicana, World's Greatest Magic Show at the Greek Isles Hotel.

You can also check the city guides as mentioned before - there are some other smaller scale magic shows around the strip.

Non-magic - you can check out any of the Cirque du Soleil shows (there are 3 or 4 variations of them), Avenue Q, Blue Man Group.

If you're looking for magic shops - many casino's have a Houdini's Magic shop in them. They're good, and the people working there are quite helpful.

I would highly recommend checking out the Las Vegas Magic Shop at the Stratosphere. They have a nice selection of items (I dropped a ton of cash in there) and if Daryl Cutler is there, he's a great guy to talk to. He was more than happy to demo any effect you asked about, and was just a cool guy in general.

You might want to go to Jerry's Nugget Casino and pick up some Jerry's Nugget playing cards (give them to me lol).

didnt they stop making nugget cards about 15 years ago?

Yeah, they did stop but I believe the Casino still has them. (Steal 'em!! lol)

I just think they look really cool and it's rare. Quite nice for card collectors such as myself. Well... starting to collect. Many flourishes like these cards because of their finish. I think they're good for cuts but I'm not 100% sure. Not the best for fans though.
