Did anyone see this? What did you think?

I've seen it, and i thought it was quite good, although not his best show. I think the 'Was this the card you were you were thinking of?' was funny the first time, and very annoying everytime after that.

Some of the in between tricks, were also a little annoying, when i wanted to see him going around the bars and streets and things.
He likes that trick with the turning the liquid upside down, and putting matches to the top - i remember that time it spilt on someones head - but this show had a nice touch of using a bottle of vodka, for it.

I've also seen him do that book trick aswell, with this missing page - that's a good trick - i like that one too - it really suits his style aswell.

I really liked that note change he used - does anyone know what it is? - it fooled me.

I also liked his svengali trick - with the mittens, that was quite funny, and the three of clubs in the drink also.

...and i loved the stand up bit, in the Irish bar - that was hilarious.

...your thoughts, please...

I generally agree with you Jing and it's not one of his best shows but still more entertaining than others that have been on over this holiday period.

I liked his handlings of the Svengali deck as well, just goes to show how a deck that a lot of people dismiss can be turned around with a decent presentation. Too often people overdo it with this deck but his presentations worked because they were uncomplicated.

On the whole, I thought that this was more of a Wickers World type programme with some magic thrown in (for those of us that remember Wickers World) rather than a full blown magic show.

Still worth watching though

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

Yes I believe that it was the same show repeated. I enjoyed it though. Seems a genuine kinda bloke.
