Hot Shot Cut

Postby ace of kev » Jan 1st, '06, 14:17

I have ran a search but I couldn't ind any topics on it

I am having a problem getting the card to shoot out, or when I do manage to get it to 'fly', it just shoots in towards my chest.

Does anybody have any tips???

Thanks

Using Hot Shot and selecting All words, the Search function shows http://www.talkmagic.co.uk/ftopic7576.p ... t=hot+shot as a recent thread. Hope it helps and best of luck!

Born To Perform

I do have XB, but I have heard that Oz's one is easier, and I haven't tryed Daryls original version yet.

I actually might try it later if I have nothing to do

well... xb IS daryl's hotshot cut, daryl is actully in the video teaching his way.
oz's way is semi easier, but my friend cant do it cause his fingers cant strech out that far. try making a gap between your left index and middle finger. if you manage to shove a deck of cards in there, you can do oz's hot shot cut

?!~

For crying out loud, the msn button under my name is to talk about magic with me, NOT A FREE MAGIC GIVEAWAY LINK. dont abuse it

Just for those who have no idea what Born To Perform or XB means, here are the following definitions (and in future, it would be nice if this didn't have to happen :) ):

Born To Perform = Born To Perform, a DVD featuring Oz Pearlman.
XB = Xtreme Beginners, another DVD focusing on "Xtreme Flourishing" with playing cards.

All the best,

Oz's version is easier IMO, but Daryl's version looks much better, so I prefer to learn his way. Also, if you can master Daryl's version and get it up to a very good speed on the cut, it looks amazing as I have seen on someone's video.
