New Year Resolutions

Postby MagicAL » Jan 3rd, '06, 22:54

So who is trying what then?

I myself have tried to give up smoking...
Failed at 8.23pm January 2nd

Tried to cut back drinking...
Still going ok. One glass of wine with dinner tonight and thats all (Honest!) :D

Practice more...
Very easy at the moment, I am currently working my notice period at work, I start new job on the 19th of Jan and basically I am just being left to my own. So working through "The Card Magic of Nick Trost" (Highly recommended) for 7 and a half hours a day! And still being paid! :D

My resolution is not to drink as much alcohol next Xmas.
At least I wont break it for another 360 days or so

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

cut back drinking: barely even started
lose enough weight to have a 1day operation in july: so far, down 1lb
learn to do a 5beat poi weave: success!
stop judging people solely on the way they look: jan 1st, met a couple of couples i assumed were going to be arrogant young managment types, turned out they were nice people, and plumbers. re-enforced!

I went for giving up Smoking - and so far so good. I haven't had one all year.

I should add though that I never smoked in the first place, but I do believe in only making resolutions that are acheivable.

:)
