Basically i just want to know how i can print the ink to the cards. I have a standard printer that prints to paper but i dont know how i could make it print to actual cards. what materials would i need, blank faced bicycles? or do i need proper sheets? i just really dont know how to go about them, help is greatly appreiciated

You need to use the Search function for this as the topic has been discussed several times before. Try using 'cardmaker' as the author when searching as he does that sort of thing professionally and offered useful advice for DIY card making some time ago.

www.cards4magic.co.uk have an item which was advertised as enabling own card production but I think it involves a laser colour copier and therefore a trip to the lcoal printer/copy shop.

thanks for the pm Demitri :D i was wondering where i could get good decent card stock, and what thickness should i use? . i think WhSmith would have to be the closest card retailer near me, might they have it?

For the template, just use any heavy stock paper - this isn't what you're printing on. Find some that is just as thick as a playing card. I forgot to mention you'll also need blank face or blank backed cards (whichever you're looking to make)

Thick card is sold at Staples, Office World and, on line, by Viking Direct.
