I was confused when I first read this post. What was being reviewed? What was locked? How is this helping me, or any other person, become a better magician? So I did the research.
Unfortunately, no lesson was learned on my part. But, it is not ours to be learned. I think the point is that this board is meant to help our fellow magicians, big or small. To be productive in the assistance of those whome need help, or just a pointer here and there. Because let's face it, even professionals can use help here and there. I think the biggest mistake anyone working in any field could make is thinking they know all about all. Even if it is the field they created. And certainly none of us created the art of Magic.
Arrogance is meerly psuedo-Confidence. This is readily appearnt if you look into the common stance of an overly arrogant person asserting themselves. They lack the integrity to be truely powerful. Because if you really think about it, Arrogance is nothing more than a defense mechanism for those who are not confident in what they can truely do.
What does this have to do with anything? I have heard of David Blaine and Paul Zennon. And I have not heard of you. Should this tell me you are a poor magician? It could, but it doesn't. And that is alot more than you have to make a competent decision on their ability.
I am sorry, I do not want to drag this out into an argument. It seems conor was looking for that as his persistance to have the last word in created a new post to respond to a locked post.
Anyway. That's my 2 cents. (Or pence)
