New member from Germany says 'hi' to all

Well, hello, everyone!
My name is chris, and as my username suggests it, I was born in 1980.
I come from Germany, Bavaria, to be more exact.
My first contact with magic lies only one year back, when a friend of mine told me about a table-hopping magician she had seen in a café.
I was fascinated with the idea and decided I wanted to learn how to do magic, too, and started with Erdnase's book.
My main interest is card magic, but I'm generally interested in all kinds of magic, especially if it's close-up and impromptu.
The only occasions I have ever performed tricks for were for my family or friends. The routines I perform are those I learned for example from Oz Pearlman's born to perform card magic and other penguinmagic videos: ambitious card, red hot mamacita, joker's wild...
I am looking forward to good discussions on this forum, and btw:
If I make any mistake or typo, it's probably because English is not my native language, so I am sorry in advance for any mistakes I make.

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??
