Regarding http://www.talkmagic.co.uk/ftopic8474.php

This is going to be fun ... where shall i start my friend?

1. do NOT Personal Message me abuse, if you have somthing to say, then let people hear you.

2. do NOT say "WTF" to me ... i find it offensive! irespective of it being an abbrieviation. It is also not tollerated by the Forum Rules,

3. DO read the forum rules before you make any form of post, you would have realized that asking the secrets behind routines is not permitted.

4. do NOT use SMS abbrieviations when making posts or sending messages, this may be appropriate way to talk to your buddy's when you're all crammed into your Vauxhal Nova with that lovly clip on exhaust ... but please refrain from using it on the boards... it makes it very difficult to underastand.

5. As the "Caliber" of magician that performes in the Grand then i thought you would have respected all these concepts as they are comonly used throughout the Magic community.

6. I was'nt born untill 1984, this means i missed the 70's punk movement!

Thanks for your time ... I trust i didnt use to many big words for you to understand. i hope you'll think about what i have to say buddy ... maybe next time I'm in leeds i'll come and watch you on stage  ... i could use a good laugh!

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

FANTASTIC!!!
makes me wonder how many performing stage magicians don't know how the hummer card is done though? and, of those magicians of such high caliber, how many would actually write WTF anywhere? or just generally be abusive at all. cWazy! with a capital W!

Ah, the 70's punk era (reminisces) - I was just leaving school at the age of ............. Great times - some great music.

Anyway, back to the topic............

I just can't believe that someone who's apparently performing stage magic does not know where to find out about the Hummer and has such a lack of respect for other magicians.

I'm sure wona-do isn't lying but Leeds Grand Theatre has been closed for the last 8 months:
http://www.leeds.gov.uk/GrandTheatre/

If he has been performing to empty houses then that's probably why we haven't heard of him!!

So you've managed to learn effects to perform on stage. You make a LIVING from performing... you don't have less than £10 to buy the Hummer Card? hmm.... lol

Punk do you think he is a clint eastwood fan? and what type of punk London, East coast , Westcoast. I once had a "professional" ask me to show him how to do triumph. I ve also noticed the amount of people i have met who have Brothers, Dads, Sisters , cousins. Dogs in the magic circle. I actually know more people by assoicitation in the magic circle then are in the circle now.

Also! I can imagine "Hummer" , speaking like westwood "this new trick is bustin i be poping out the aces super smoooooth style HOLLA"

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

I ve heard of this guy when i was in Leeds, The Great Sweardini , Here is his poster ok its no Thurstons do the spirits come back? but you get the idea.

"marvel at how he ask audiances if they know how to do a trick, Please note The Great Sweardini has performed in front 0's of people and one dog, in places like Burton. Matlock and the Grande Leeds during the closed season to an empty house every night. Please bring your own cards and instructions to effects 30 minutes before he goes on, so he can learn them before he appears on stage! New for the 06 season The hummer card once some one tells him how to do it. Entry is free because we couldnt charge for this we will fill guitly!"

All i do now is book that train to Leeds. Whos comming with.

I suspect we're dealing with a young chap in a hurry, but whose age is barely into double figures. Why, his father would have been in nappies when punk was sticking its whizzed out finger up at the nation and puking Special Brew in phone boxes.

Punk's not dead... it's just resting :D

Under the Rules & Regs, http://www.talkmagic.co.uk/ftopic3632.php , it's quite clearly stated:

To ensure the enjoyment of you and others, we would like you to follow these brief rules:

1) No abuse of any kind will be tolerated

I take it nobody will be too sorry if this cretin is excluded from TM?
