A simple google search returned a whole stack of places.

Hey SirRawlins how can you say "we here at TM beleive in NOT exposing the secrets behind tricks ..." and then post a link to a site which basically gives it away. I'm interested in this. You can't say that to do the hummer card you require magicians wax and set up time on this site but you can direct people to sites that do say that?

I think this trick needs a lot more than just wax to work.
The web site doesn't really expose anything significant.

Oh no, JUST the wax is all you need; it's magic like that, you see :D

I don't really think it exposes anything, you do need more than that and it is a great effect - when done right.

I don't think SirRawlins aim was to give away any secrets as anyone who looks at MT would see that. Still, at least you're interested in preserving secrets, eh.

He has popped back on quickly, just to have a quick word in my ear ... "Man ur laim" i think were his exact words

I wouldnt class the comments on magictricks.co.uk as exposure ... they are one of the largest online retails of magic ... thats why i linked to them ... maybe i should have linked to penuin .. eeeeeeeerm .. NOOO!

I wasn't accusing anyone of giving away secrets. However, if anyone want's to know how the hummer card works, a quick look around the online magic stores will reveal the secret. Especially, one's that have that bit which says "people who bought this, also bought this" and linked to the props required for the trick.

I think that it's strange that magic forums are so hesitant to make posts about TTs and NWs etc. and then link to shops that sell them. On another forum I read a post where someone asked "Where do you buy your T---- T--- from?" and then people posted links to various places that sold TTs.

Personally, I think that most magic forums are secretive to the point of the ridiculous. And the reception that people get when they come on asking questions is similar to that sketch in which Mel Smith goes into the hi fi shop.

There is a difference between asking questions, and asking for secrets Copyright.

A TT is a widely known magic prop. Asking where to buy one is not asking for a secret. The secret of the TT is how to use it, not what it is

LOL this is ridiculous!

When my brother asks me how I do my tricks I point to a book and say "it's all in there"... as you might have guessed he doesn't read it.

But that's not what happened was it? No-one read the guy's post and said "go and read about IT." Instead we got a load posts about cutting women in half and other hilarious gags.

A TT is a widely known magic prop. Asking where to buy one is not asking for a secret. The secret of the TT is how to use it, not what it is

Exactly the same thing could be said of IT.

My point is that why when I write IT or TT on this and other forums it get turned into IT and TT but no online magic store bothers to do this? Anyone looking for magic solutions can work out what IT, NW, TTs are and they are all 'widely known magic props' so why bother hiding the words on here? It's just keeping a secret for the sake of keeping a secret.
