Okay. Time for my first video. It's the first I ever uploaded and I have only been doing cardmagic in 6 weeks, so please give me some tips.

The video looked as if it was filmed through a dirty piece of glass and the camera was a little too distant.

On the cards, I thought that was very good for only six weeks- are you sure that's how long you've been handling cards

Your Elmsley, even from a distance looked OK but I could see the prep in your left hand in the background if you see what I mean, just before you loaded. There was too much finger movement but I don't know if a lay would spot it.

I'm sure the cardies will comment.

Overall, good for six weeks and well done

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

Yeah nice video buddy! Keep up the good work!

Dat I don't think this uses the elmsley count does it? That's just a regular "peel-it-off" count lol I don't know what you call that.

I can only say one bad about this video, but the rest was brilliant :D

I noticed that when you spread the cards at the end, your left hand slammed down onto the cards at the bottom of the spread.

I know the reason why you did this, but just work on that :D

Well Done!

Cool! Very nice done! Im new in Card tricks, too. I wonder if someone can tell me the trick... I love it soo :( But I think, real magicians don't do it either... Well: As ace of kev has already said... at the end... your left hand.. try to improve that ;)

Teach/tell other people/magicians their Tricks (like Copperfield... well, I don't like him... but that's another story :P)

Well... as longer as I think about it... Ellusionist tell other people how to perform the tricks ... oO Im confused (and confusing ;))

Couple things I can see. Lose the cuts at the start, they add nothing and look clumsy. You have no logical reason to place the four cards back on the deck after you lay them out on the table, much better to do the add on as you take them out the deck. Various ways you can do that, Vernon's stripout addition would work. No need to spread the deck out three times at the end, when once will do. Some of your handling looks a little clumsy and inelegant; you need to work on your card handling.

Oh, and as you're setting the deck up anyway, have the four cards nearer the face so it doesn't take as long to find them.
