I have a question for you Tom, how long did it take for you to create the characters.

And another one :D How did you get into your job?

Actually I wasn't that impressed .... http://www.flickr.com/photos/sgclark/85845171/

oh, wait a minute .... http://www.moviesonline.ca/movienews_6614.html

What can I say.. Tom you have the coolest job on the forum. BBC review said that Ray Winstone's Talking Beaver steals scene after scene.

By the way I hope you do appreciate the lack of beaver jokes. Its torture.

The scannable Beaver sculptures took about 10 weeks for the two. That included a half dozen facial expressions for each.

I always wanted to do special effects of some kind since age 13 so I guess I never stopped wanting to. I just kept going and taught myself what ever I could.

Have a look at my website if you want to see other stuff.

If you fancy a go at learning to sculpt creatures at my workshop, have a look at the text competition on the special effects supplies page...but I'll warn you, as a teacher I've brought more than one young upstart to tears! Especially when they are better than me! LOL

I would enter but there is no point because I wouldn't be able to come down, its quite a bit of distance from my house :(
