Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. - Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989..

Yeah, I have the dvds for the eclipse tip and the FS/2, and on the dvds he dose come over has a great performer, i like the way he takes some thing and adds a little bit here and something great happens. The magic of the sphears is great totally blew me away.

Jay Scott Berry performed a lecture at the Newcastle Magic Circle last year and he was superb. There was a rush on the dealers table but I suspect most people won't use a lot of the stuff that they bought.
Not that it's not very good. It is good. I have FS2 and Cloaking Device and think that they are great. I enjoy Colour Warp his colour changing sponge routine immensely

However this stuff is not for everyone. The gimmicks that he uses require a specific style that is very dramatic. JSB uses a lot of music to his presentations and not a lot of talking. Remember this stuff is his style and he makes it look great. The amount of performers who have the correct style to perform this are few.

JSB uses a lot of topitting and his thoughts on this device are excellent. If you have an interest in this type of work then I'd recommend looking into his stuff.

He also does some very smooth and simple coin work around the spellbound theme. Again he uses sleeves and topits to his advantage.

His ring and ribbon symphony got a lot of interest and I think that this is one of the biggest workers of his repertoire, not a bad place to start.

If you are interested in his work, his Illusioneering notes go into the work on all these topics and all the gimmicks he uses (his work on a TT is great and I don't just mean how he has modified it).

I have contacted JSB several times via his website and always had prompt, friendly, helpful responses. He even personally signed the lecture notes that he sent me.

All in all a unique performer with a lot to give to magic.

Just been watching the video for his Symphony on the Ring & Ribbon.

Looks very good.

I may have to purchase this, can't find any reviews here though.

I've got the silks and also the ring & ribbon, noth of which are good but my preference is for the latter.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

I of course Love his Sponge ball routine , "The Mystery of the spheres" I think its called. Also he has great ideas about how to modyfie the old gimmicks.
