Suggestion For The Asher Twist

Postby magic_evmeister » Jan 26th, '06, 16:35

I was watching my Asher Twist DVD yesterday and he mentions the Wesley James (?) placement to difuse the need for a count at the end. I was thinking about this and wandered why you should need to even do this when you can make a perfectly natural placement/separation as a part of you prestentation.

Someone please tell me if this idea is flawed but all I do is after the second twist in Asher's original routine (one face up and one face down in each hand) I just simply point out that now two of them have now turned face down whilst separating them so I have two face down in one hand and two face up in the other and then I put the two face up cards on the bottom and continue with the two final twists. This I find works much better and looks much more natural than moving a card suspiciously as you have a reason to do it.

I think that the displacement suuggestions are just to give you ideas on how to finish the effect. If you find a way that works better for you, then do it. Personally, i always use the original method.

I was born with Multiple Personality Disorder. Luckily, they are all me, they just dont always get along...
