Reputable Online Store?

Postby Kiran » Jan 23rd, '06, 21:56

Hi everyone,

This is my first post on these forums, but i've been lurking around for a while, watching some of the videos in the File Transfer section.

I've been into magic for only a couple of months, and have currently purchased 1 DVD - Born to Perform Card Magic by Oz Pearlman

I purchased this from penguinmagic.co.uk and the delivery was very fast, however I would now like to purchase another DVD, but they do not stock it at penguinmagic.

So I turn to you, Magicians at TalkMagic...

Could someone please recommend a good online store, based in the UK, that accepts PayPal, (a lot of criteria I know, sorry) and has a good range of Magic DVDs (I'm currently looking to buy Easy to Master Card Miracles by Michael Ammar)

Any help or advice for a beginner on what DVDs to buy next would be very much appreciated,

Thanks

Kiran

I put in some direct links for you:

www.magicbox.uk.com

I've never used them personally (I live in the states) but I've heard they're good. You'll find they have volumes 1-6 (all great purchases) - and they are currently having some sort of sale on DVDs. You might want to check this out, first.

www.magicshop.co.uk

They have Volumes 1-6, but I haven't heard much about this store.

www.alakazam.co.uk

I've heard nothing but good things from this place. They also have volumes 1-6 available.

Hope these help!

Do you know if there is a magic shop anywhere near you?

If there is, it would be worth your while to check it out :D

Try World-of-Magic.
Most of the companies mentioned above won't accept Paypal but WOM will.

Thanks for all of the suggestions.

I ended up ordering the DVD from world-of-magic, as Paypal is the most convenient method of payment for me.

(It arrived the next day, thanks for the recommendation Saxmad!)

Unfortunately, i have no idea if there is a magic shop anywhere near me, but i'll ask around and see what I can find.

Thanks again!

i've had some stuff from www.magictricks.co.uk
had no problems with them, and they give 10% off if you keep buying from them
