The Effect
The performer picks up a foot long needle and pushes it through the flesh of his forearm. The needle is then pushed backward and forward in the wound, even let go of and is clearly seen going through the arm, blood then starts seeping from the wound.
The needle is then removed and the blood rubbed away to reveal no puncture or damage to the skin has occured.

Review
Ordered with slight sceptism as usual but eagly awaited delivery which was extremely swift. I tore of them wrapping and spilled out all the contents onto my table and begun to read the instructions.
The first thing that came to mind was how simple the effect was and not at all how I'd imagined it would work. Secondly after reading the instructions I was informed I would need to buy one or two more items in order to start (I always am disappointed at his).
So off I trotted and bought the item in question, got back and immediately started to go to town on this new purchase of mine.
It worked first time and pretty much fooled me for a second and a wry, evil grin spread across my face at the thought of what this could do in the right company.
The illusion itself is remarkably real and can be done relatively close up without giving away the illusion. I would say, if performing, to have your audience 4 foot away or more you will be in the clear. I've already thought the best patter would be to ask them not to come too close as it is quite dangerous and there is much to go wrong (also beefs up the tension).
Although I have not tried this out on the public at large as of yet I can already see the potential and am 100% happy with what I have bought.
Yes I think with a illusion of this ilk which is quite gory and involves the "piercing" of a limb that the audience needs to carefully chosen (maybe the annual dinner party of the Vegan society isnt a good choice). But if you have the correct situation this is a great addition to anyones arsenal.
