Yup, I was wrong!!! Jamie @ cards4magic.co.uk confirms that there are no routines included as such but use of the gaffed cards can be figured out from the vid referred to above and there will probably be many more based on other routines using gaffed cards or from your own ideas. More random thoughts: the black backs are a perfect match for the more normal white faced Bikes with black backs and the faces might also be useful in something using the original Black Tigers where the faces aren't full colour on black - a little magic and you could appear to transform from one kind to another. Use of an Elsmley or two with cards from different decks is another area of possibility. There are one or two Black Deck books on the market (with, all being well, another one due very soon from one of the TM experts!) so it's likely that ideas from there could be adapted to use these new cards.

I would steer clear of the Ellusionist Black Deck book if I were you.

I think it has been reviewed here before - but if anyone wants me to elaborate on this - just ask.

In short – you get very little for your money, and for the beginners in mind – there are very little full routines included. There seem to be lots of ‘obvious’ suggestions – e.g. “why not take the ‘spider’s web’ gaff card and perform your favourite colour change to the ‘spider on the web’ gaff card” – I’m paraphrasing here – but do a quick search for reviews and you’ll get the idea.

I’d wait for the TM member’s book if I were you!

:D

Good point - the formula to remember there is not E=mc2 but E=Poo.

I didn't even know there was books on black decks. At least:

1) I know about them
2) To steer clear

Cheers!

There's one about to go on sale called Black[deck]Magic.

Please don't steer clear of that one ;)

well i finnally got to opening up my black deck and as i was fanning through the deck, i noticed that some of the cards have a differnt shade of black. dunno if it's just me.

i rather use my tigers though...

after looking at the vid that mandrake had, the deck dissapearing trick can be learned in the dvd Underground. just remembered that

bah one more edit. on my box, the flaps have the number 2 and the spades. is that anything imporntant? could it be used in a trick?

That matches one of the special cards included so a crafty but basic card force with the revelation shown on the flaps and you've just performed a miracle.
