I have the chance to have some private tutition wit an experienced magician, has anyone had anything like this before?is it really worth it? does anyone know of a directory where i can find a list of people that would do this so i can compare prices?is there anything i need to look out for?

Its about 55 for an hour, its with pat page, is it worth it?

Go for it.

Compare costs. You can pay £20 for a 30 minute DVD. You pay about £35 to £55 per hour labour to get your car serviced. You pay £40 per hour for a dentist to scale your teeth. You pay more than that to get your windows cleaned, your car vacuumed, your toenails cut or your hair brushed.

£55 per hour is only £385 per day for a full-time equivalent. IT contractors with half the experience (well, less dexterity anyway) get at least £400 per day: and they can't even pull a rabbit out of your ear!

It sounds to me that this is a bargain. Actually, does anyone know of any classes in London? I could not afford a long course of tuition, but could definately benefit from a couple of focussed classes.

no im not jokin its with pat page at simon drakes house of magic, i will do it then but it wont be for a couple of months anyway, thought i mite do a cheap class first and get some technique!Then maybe i wont seem really out of place coz im a newbie

id do it simply because its Pat Page, as was mentioned ealier the man is a legend..BUT be warned he doesnt mince his words if things arent up to par (good old scottish charm )

Proper instruction from an experienced magician will be worth more than any amount you pay, assuming that you take the lessons on board. If you have the opportunity to learn from Pat then grab it with both hands.

Theres nothing wrong with it, that was my point. It was a sarcastic coment. If your making a statement about someone elses grammar/spelling etc then you REALLY have to make sure that yours is correct!
