Just a little intro for your info. I'm JJ, 34yr old Mancunian who lives in Bolton (Gtr Manchester) I'm married (8 yrs) and have two daughters. My hobbies include Thai Boxing, Films, Music, Books, Beer, Beer, (did I say Beer ?) and seeing the world !!!
I have always been fasinated by magic - especially skillful sleight of hand cards and coins routines, as opposed to 'big stage illusions'
I have only begun to learn the art itself recently, concentrating on coins and cards, with a scattering of other tricks and effects that take my fancy. Mentalism also interests me as well, so do techniques like misdirection.
I would say I'm genrally pretty open minded to whats out there to learn. (The bug has bit, and bit deeply !)
Magic heros at the moment include Michael Ammar, Ricky Jay, Jay Sankey, some aspects of Derren Browns work (I've yet to discover all the other greats - so forgive my ignorance)
