Just a question out of interest really. I have read on this forum (I think) people saying, for example, email Jay Sankey (or any magician).

How do you get their email adresses?

Not a personal one and the way people talk it suggests a personal one.

Well, it's a start. It might be that it's him sat in an office thinking up tricks, dealing with manufacturers and dealers, and answering email durng his coffee break.

When I need to get original quotes from people, I send an email to the official address first to see what comes back. It's usually the person I want to talk to oran intermediary, but it has to be something they're likely to want to talk to me about or it won't happen.

Very few magicians have 'people' if you can find their website 9/10 times you have found them. I have found most are very approachable and perfectly nice people.
