First of all, use dots! (...)

Secondly, yeah, I think it's called the throw change anyhow. A few ways of doing this. A better way is not to hold the card by the edge as it looks unnatural. Better to hold it on one edge.

Ditto.

Not seen that throw before though and it could be used in loads of tricks. I don't think I would even mention what I was doing to the spectator...just throw it in there.

I would try to not throw it, but rather rely on the bend and power of the card, to do the exact thing you achieve by adding that throw to it.
