Johnnie Gentle Amazing Pro Magic Course

Postby ab5zn » Feb 20th, '06, 03:32

I am considering investing in the course described at this site:
http://www.magictouches.com/goog-procourse.htm

I'm a little concerned that the website does not provide a topic outline.

Can anyone tell me anything about the course? Is it good? Do you recommend it? (If you have it, would you like to sell it?)

Thank you.

Not having seen this course it's difficult to comment specifically but you can get the Tarbell course from lybrary.com on CD for far less. Add a few well chosen books/DVDs (Mark Wilson, Michael Ammar, Paul Harris, Jay Sankey etc) and you still won't have spent much more than $150 or so. It's curious that the two photos referring to changing/producing dollar bills and showing money aren't US or Canadian but use a Scottish £20 note and what looks like a UK 50 pence coin. (Edited later - as Johnnie is from Scotland, his choice of currency note is quite understandable  !)

If you have reservations such as the lack of a topic outline then perhaps you're already thinking it's not such a bargain offer? $297 is a lot of money for something offered without full details - is there any way of asking the suppliers for such information?

Gentlemen:

Thanks for the advice. You're right in that ~$300 USD is a lot to pay for a magic course the content of which is undisclosed.
