Brainwave vs. Invisible

Struggling with an effect? Any tips (without giving too much away!) you'd like to share?

Both identical in principle - with the added bonus that the Brainwave has an extra 'kicker' at the end (the card's back colour).

The ID can be gaffed to perform different 'kicks' as well. (do a search for 'X sankey' - I posted a routine modification by Jay Sankey for the ID using a marker...)

You should have both in your arsenal, really.

The only difference between the two is that the ID is consistently coloured...

Or, alternatively, make your own.

I do, and mine are generally better quality than the ones available.

Another advantage of the ID is that the effect is more readily repeatable than the brainwave, if you feel you need to of course.

Cogito, ergo sum.
Cogito sumere potum alterum.

I own the invisible, and I think it's a bit easyer, because IF you make a mistake, wich ofcourse chouldn't happen (but hey, we're all human huh) it's easyer to quickly erase your mistake, because they dont see the card face immediatly. With the brainwave, if the card face is there, it's there, if it is the wrong card, you messed it up quiet a little. Well, that's what I think of it ofcourse. But is is a pitty that both of them lose r******ss very quickly, but hey, that's where we have the spray for isn't it ;)

Now take a look at David Regal's Alone - single trick using the same principle as these two decks; just a whole lot clearer to the onlooking leity.

Yes, I do know that the other decks are capable of much more, I was just pointing out this VERY interesting variation.
