Effect: A deck of cards is shown to be a normal deck with all different cards and numbers on the backs, 1-52. The performer then makes a prediction of what card the spectator will choose. The spectator then calls out any number between 1 and 52 and the magician goes to that card (remember, the backs are numbered so there's no cheating on the counting) and sure enough, it is the card the magician predicted.

I bought mine for 12.00 dollars (US currency). When I first saw this I was a bit dumbfounded and had to try it myself. The deck is not examinable and it is done in a brand of cards I've never seen before, but since there's huge numbers on the backs anyway the deck would look strange even if it were in bike stock. Pretty much self-working, requires no skill but it's a heck of a lot of fun to do because you can concentrate on the performance. The great part is that the spectator has a free choice on the number he chooses and he hears the prediction beforehand. The credit can even go to the spectator to take the heat of the deck. All in all, a great trick for the price. I'd rate it a 9/10 for it's class. A classic.
