Book of Days

Postby Mirage38 » Aug 8th, '03, 15:18

I had this trick years ago but for some reason I can't find it anywhere & when I moved house it could have been lost or taken down the charity shop by mistake.

Obviously I do not want the secret revealed but just an idea of the routine to jog my memory, I think it was a diary or book & the punter named a date & selected a card, the book was opened & when the punter went to the chosen date his card was written on that date? with different cards on all other dates on that page, I can't remember if two books were used?

It also reminds me a little of The Perpetual Calendar by P Duffie and A Colombini .

Not sure if this is the same as Tom's link.

Incidently, I ran "Gordons Diary" through the "Bargin Magic Serach engine" and emagictricks came out as being by far the cheapest.

I looked at Toms link for 'Gordons Diary' which explained the trick in great detail & this seems to be the one that I once had but under a diferent title.

From Bananafish

It also reminds me a little of The Perpetual Calendar by P Duffie and A Colombini .

http://www.alakazam.co.uk/acatalog/Alak ... .html#a222 I checked out this link & the trick diary had four routines but no details, as you say 'Gordons Diary' is the cheapest buy.

Thanks for all your help.
