After many hours spent reading this forum (and one failed attempt to join it) I finally have managed to sign up... HOORAH!!!
Let me tell you my story...
Many years ago a small boy was found alone and lost on the snowy peaks of kilimanjaro by a secret sect of monks. They took him in and nurtured him as one of their own, training him in the amazing and otherworldly arts of their order... By the time the boy was 32 he had long since surpassed his masters and was ready to unleash his unsurpassed and astounding magical powers on the world that had long since forgotton his existence... Bidding a fond farewell to the temple and his beloved adopted family, he began his journey back to civilisation. Wherever he breathed the air would become sweeter, wherever he walked flowers would shoot up at his feet and when he rested even the lowly snails would gasp in wonder at the amazing shimmering lights that surrounded him... Truly a miraculous being!
I though am nothing like that...
I started as an actor, but found getting a job tough until I ran away and joined a circus in 2002 as the villainous Ringmaster, Flash. It was here I learned my first close up magic as Flash was (and still is) a cheat at cards, and I used to do a bit of warm up before the show started. I stayed with the show on and off for 3 years and the longer I stayed the better my magic got (in my second year I began performing straitjacket escapes whilst suspended from the roof of the tent). I left last year and have since been street performing and gigging around the country in a variety of guises doing magic, escapology, balloon modelling and clowning. Which brings us up to date, me sitting at a computer late at night typing gibberish...
Whats that? What happened to the boy who could perform miracles that grew up in Tibet? Oh.. er.. um.. well... Ah! He got a job in a supermarket pushing trolleys around using just the power of his mind... I never said it was a happy story did I?
