Just joined the site a day or so ago and thought I better say hello!
Been interested in close up card and coin stuff for years and have collected a few decks, shells, expanded and the like as well as Raven X2 (awesome!).
Still a closet performer though...
LOLUnfortunately, 4 weeks ago I managed to break my right hand. It's on the mends now but have been left with limited movement in my little finger that I have been told is permanent. So will have to persevere with handling of items.
I like to try and experiment with different things and enjoy making use of wax, magnets and threads etc. Favourite at the moment is levitating thrown cards.
I haven't started any homework in it yet, but to show my naivety, I have always been impressed with multiple single card production. Not the old one that you throw into a hat, (bit obvious), but where I can throw the produced card only to find that another different one has appeared in my hand. Maybe someone will be able to point me in the right direction?
Anyway I can see that I will spend many an hour reading the forums here...
