i dunno. i think i buskers section might be alright.
i don't like stand in the street doing magic or anything like that but i generally end up doing it for random people in bars/pubs, in exchange for drinks though, not money

Some of the best acts I have seen in magic have been street buskers.

If the magic world cant see they have a lot to learn from them then they will miss out on a lot.

Just think of Cellini and Gazzo to name a few.

Street Busking is a very skilful art. Not only does the performer have to be good at what he does to draw attention and entertain, he/she also has to try and get some cash out of those watching. I always enjoy seeing street performers of any kind (except perhaps the 'living statues!) and even the 'acts' featuring conmen with three matchboxes, a paper ball and a strong desire for someone else's money! If anyone goes to Barcelona, you'll find a long street called Las Ramblas which has a wide central reservation which is full of places to sit and eat/drink, pet stalls, flower sellers and lots of street performers - possibly the biggest collection of jugglers, fire eaters, magicians (and living statues!) I've ever seen in one place. As the afternoon turns to evening, the stalls and performers all shut up shop but are replaced by lots of people offering Tarot readings. Great place to visit, well recommend!

Street performing is a noble art.
It is the only place where you get to see the whole show first and pay after.
Another place which is full of street performers is in Canada where I toured last year, great times.
