Help with ID.

Postby Ian » Mar 9th, '06, 19:09

Hi everyone. I'm hoping somebody can help me.
I've just found my bicycle deck that Ii ordered a few years ago when I was messing around with card tricks and stuff.
I really want to do this ID trick again but I haven't got the sheet of instructions that came with the deck.
Would some kind person on here please tell me how the trick is done. Ihave a feeling a I may have dropped the cards at some point so if they have to be in a particular order could youtell me which order they have to be in.
Any help from you guys would be very much appreciated :D

Cheers
Ian

Sorry Ian, we can't give out instructions on how to do things. Use the Search function above and you might find enough previous discussion to give you a hint or two.

Ian

I'm sure that other will back me up but I'll be the first to say that on this site we don't expose secrets to tricks and routines. There are many many posts online about the ID, some ask the very same questions so I would suggest that you use the search function to look these up.

You will find that there are a few discreet pointers that someone with the deck should be able to follow, and those without it won't be able to follow.

All I will say that is look at your deck and think of the number that's unlucky for some, particularly if you play Bingo!

I find it difficult to believe that someone can forget how the ID works.

I believe thats how most of us learnt to ride a bike. Bike riding is not a trade secret or a commercial product. So, in hindsight, it's not really like saying that, is it?

I've never owned the deck but I know how it works from reading discussions. I don't think the order matters so much once you have the main few points set up correctly.
Now if u've actually used it before I'm sure you'll work it out

There's no order, as long as it's set up correctly they can be in any order.

I hope that's vague enough...

They can be in any order, and, if you know how they work, then there's actually no need for you to ask us any more than that. Sure, there's a system for putting the pack together, but, hey, if you know how it works, you can create your own system.

Simple.

If you create your own, it'll be far more memorable than the one that came with the pack.

Well, there's less chance of you 'forgetting' it again, if it's yours from the start.

Failing the obvious and intuitive solutions mentioned above, buy another ID... they're cheap as chips.
