A good effect.

I cant really hear what you're saying so I'm a bit deaf or you need to speak up a bit.

Effects like this can be annoying because you have to rip a card each time (I presume)

Cheers,

I can understand if you can't understand me. Sometimes I don't even know what I am saying

The vid works for me and for Pitto. Maybe you need a newer version.

Use old worn out decks for the trick then.

Kev, I enjoyed watching it. One thing. The main and almost only move there, you kinda took a while to do and it seemed too unnatural. Just practice on the insert a bit more and it'll be great! :D

Thanks :D I think that when I bend the card I need to try and open up the 'bit', as that is what always sticks. Thanks :D

It had nothing to do with accent it was volume. When I could hear it I could understand. You just mumbled slightly

I thought this trick was very well done. I've seen it on several occasions, but I can't really work it out. It seems like with this trick you would have to patter a lot. I prefer tricks that kind of talk for themselves  ...Well done though

Thanks,

Nice one Kev. I like this trick although I don't use it very often because of it's destructive nature and my lack of willingness to carry around expendable cards (my pocket space is very valuable).

On the whole I thought you performed it pretty well but it seemed a little fiddly at times. I'm not sure that is a problem with practice though, it seems more of a problem with the method you've been taught. Might I suggest you look up Gerry Griffin's Complete Card Magic? He teaches this on volume 3 I think and his version is very smooth in performance once you've got the basics down (which you clearly have). Or if I have time to practice it I'll see if I can make a video of it. The differences would be more than easy to follow if you already know the method.

This is one of my all time favourite effects. I never go out with less than 20 of these set up. And I can go through most of them in one night.

Its an all time winner. If you haven't done this seriously to people you just don't know how strong this effect is.

I have people taking the torn cards away and asking me to repeat it weeks later. There isn't much you can do stronger than this.

Sorry but I could not see the posted vid because it asked for an additional install and I don't do that. If the original poster would like to PM me and then send his vid I'll happily have a look at it and advise accordingly.

I've performed in pubs, bars and restaurants for the last 15yrs, Card Warp is an absolute killer that I will never go out without. I'm lucky because I have a box full of used packs given to me years ago that came from a casino and I use them to make up this effect. 2 packs make 24 sets of cards. When they run out I'll buy new packs to make this up because its that good.

Consider the cost of 24 sets from 2 packs of cards, and what you spend on other magic tricks :? DO IT :D

The only thing that you would need to download to view this file is an updated version of WMP (Windows Media Player). PM me if you still want me to send you it.

Thanks for the comments magic_evmeister. I think I might have a look into the Gerry Griffin DVD's or if you ahve the time, then I would love to see you video :D

Oh, and have I ever mentioned anywhere that I have met the creator of this trick, Roy Walton, lots of times?

I always ripp through both of the cards at the end.
This is the video i first saw of card warp, and after playing around with some cards me and a friend figured out how it was done.

One of the major differences in the version I know is the tearing of both cards as shown in the video Bundy has posted. But I'll see what I can do about a video over the next week, as I'm taking the week off work.
