OK guys, you provoked me! After I implied that I thought the Elmsley was so basic that it must be in RRTCM, and you proved me wrong - I went on a mission of bookworming...
I even went to the extent of buying a paperback copy of RRTCM to see if it was different to my Hardback edition. Nope - only the running order.
So, I set to looking through my collections... books, pamphlets, notes, histories etc... and it would seem that most of my literature is pre-1970...
Apart from a little book called Counts, Cuts, Moves and Subtleties - by Jerry Mentzer. Here, you'll find Flushtration, Elmsley Count, Buckle Count, Biddle move and MUCH more. It's pretty plain, but illustrated by reasonable photos.
On the rather dull cover, it exclaims that this is 'a book of Basic Card Techniques'. Well, it's only basic in the way it's taught - the techniques are actually relatively advanced - certainly a 'next-step' from RRTCM.
OK, thanks for calling me 'Wrong'. You see, it paid off... and I admit it - the Elmsley is NOT in the RRTCM. I stand corrected!
