favorite visual magic

Postby magic8697 » Mar 8th, '06, 05:55

My favorote kind of magic is very visual. I dont do any shows and the only effects I ever show people are fellas that I work with. However I do belong to ring 2 of the ibm. And my goal when I go there is to show the best visual magic within my skill range. I look for things that they may not of seen so if anyone knows any effects that are very visual maybe not so well known in the magic circles please give a discription of the effect and where I can find it. You never know it might be sitting on my magic dvd shelf right now.

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. - Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989..

Have you seen David Blaine's "Vertigo?" He takes an empty can of coke and proceeds to refill and seal it. It's a very powerful piece of magic with which I have had people scream in disbelief. HIGHLY recommended!

It's just amazing! When I saw it I had to lift my jaw off the floor! And when I learned how to do it, I was out on the streets performing it that very same day!

You are obviously immune to CUPS. I have a few DVDs on my shelf that I am yet to watch - and have just ordered the Paul Wilson RRTCM set - [sigh] - another £50 spent (if not wasted).

If I could do 1% of all the material I own properly, I could go out and make some money to recoup the hundreds of pounds I have spent on this awful, but owe so addictive hobby,
