Hi there,

I'm new to the forum so I thought it best to introduce myself.

I've been interested in magic & illusions for a good 20+years although I only started being interested enough to learn for about 15.

I started in my opinion wrongly by trying to learn all types of magic instead of learning one area really well and then moving on. I settled on Mentalism about 5 years ago and am glad in one way it's taken off due to Derren Brown although now there's a bit of a glut in the market as it were of Mentalists.

My fave mentalist is Richard Osterlind, I've got both his Mind Mysteries series on DVD now. I also like Banachek and of course Derren isn't too shabby either.

I've done a couple of shows for charity although these were both some time ago and I'm a tad rusty on the audience side of things now.

I'm hoping to get back into it quite seriously and am trying to expand my repetoire to include close up work as friends who organise conferences have enquired about me table hopping during after dinner coffees.
