Hop2It

Postby katrielalex » Mar 15th, '06, 08:40

I haven't posted a video for a while so I thought I'd put something up.

I'm not sure how it works out on camera so let me know - it does work quite well in real life :).

I noticed the flash of the thumb break - I think I can use the old 'angles' excuse though as it would usually be significantly below spectators' eye level.

Anyway, Hop2It

Kati - that rocks. Brilliant. I've had such a bad day today, and that has just put the biggest smile on my face. :D

Which of John Bannon's books is it from? I own 'Dear Mr. Fantasy,' and it too has effects in it that are so simple for the performer, yet so awesomely jaw-dropping for the spectator.

Brilliant stuff.

John Bannon is amazing. I got Smoke and Mirrors a while ago, and it was a bit too tricks (this was when I was perfecting my Biddle Grip ;)), and I reopened it about a month or so ago.

I swear, I could do an entire 30-min closeup routine with opener and closer and all just from Smoke and Mirrors. I really don't want to spend £30 on Dear Mr. Fantasy but I am slowly giving in to temptation .

All the routines are brilliantly thought out, easy to do, etc. Absolute MUST MUST MUST MUST MUST BUY.

Well done, Kati! This is a really cool effect.

Like you, I am a huge Bannon fan. I have yet to see something from him I didn't like. As for Dear Mr. Fantasy - you will NOT regret the purchase.

Oh no, you're getting as bad as Tom Lauten!

I just can't spend £35 on a book...can I?
