It hasn't really sunk in yet  I'm 40 today and according to the saying and what ppl have been telling me, life begins today (apparently !!)

If that's the case, I guess I must have been living the past 40 years of my life in a semi-comatose vegetitive state and my internal alarm clock rung at 12 midnight and woke me up into this new, higher conscious state of awareness
Hmmm..... strange how I don't really feel any different

One of the plus sides (according to my dad) is that things will now be cheaper for me from now on - for instance I'll use less fuel 'cos it's all downhill from here (thanks for that one pops  )

At the end of the day you're as old as you feel and act and I'm still in my twenties 8) and besides, it gives me a good excuse to go out tonight 'n' get wasted (not that I need an excuse anyway  )

Anyone in or near Burnley fancy a beer  ??

Hic

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

Happy Birthday - take no notice of age, it's just a number. Mentally I'm 17 (some would say that's months rather than years) and I guess I always will be. These days they (whoever 'they' are) tell me that 50 is the new 40 and they're probably right so you have another 10 years yet! Enjoy each day as it comes and have fun - this isn't a rehearsal!

Happy Birthday!

I'm supposed to be 40 later this year, but I have a smart lawyer. He says he can get me community service or a fine instead.

I got woke up this morning with my missus bringing a cake into the bedroom with a "4" and a "0" on, each with a lit candle on, whilst she was singing happy birthday.
I was still half asleep and woke up thinking WTF is going on here  !!!

You could be right  ! But age 17 was what I'd refer to as the golden time of life with few responsibilities or commitments, lots of social activities with fun and games for all. The swinging 60's at their height (as were mini skirts) and the only thing that mattered was having a darned good time.

(I think I'm going to start crying any minute  )

Happy Birthday!

Im only 20 and i have decided early that im not going to get any older. Im going to act like im 20 for the rest of my life, even when i turn 20 in 50 years time!

I was born with Multiple Personality Disorder. Luckily, they are all me, they just dont always get along...
