Help! Invisible Palm trick

Postby ohminku » Mar 18th, '06, 15:17

Hey everyone, I'm new on this forum. I've been practicing my invisible palm routine but I can't find a suitable surface to lay down the double without it seperating.. (ive been using hard surface or a mousepad). Any suggestion on a surface that can be found in an ordinary home? (Sorry I know this isn't in the right forum, but I dont have access to techniques forum!) Thanks a lot in advance! :)

I do this routine. However I use a tiny bit of ruffing spray on the cards to help them hold better. I dont know if its done a hole lot lol, but I ususally get it looking farelly decent.

For a great impromptu close-up card suface in your very own home i can recommend nothing other than a carpet. My invisible palm isn't great but i've gotten away with it whilst having people round by performing it on my living room carpet. If you have a few people round and they're in your living room then just grab a deck of cards, sit down and say "Hey! Check this out!" It works a treat.

Of course if you don't have a carpeted living room then you should consider redecorating - you're a magician now.
