But let's once again stress - the 'wallet' itself plays a role about 10 seconds long - and is VERY inconsequential to the actual trick.

Anyone thinking of purchasing this effect should not be put off by the wallet supplied. I've been using it for ages - and I always play it's usage down a tad.

Glad you like it, though, Tom!

There's a demo vid somewhere showing a version where the performer roughly adds up the total of the spots on the displayed cards, suggests it's 'about' 16 or 17, thumbs down the pack to that approx figure, and selects that as the soul mate card. It's correct of course!

As I mentioned somewhere else, DA is one of those routines which can be almost endlessly personalised and will be as unique as each performer. I reckon that's a good sign of a great trick!

P.S. Don't forget to check out the DA Tips & Hints for more ideas and suggestions.

The next step, of course, is to use your own decks which effectively means you've changed everything! (I still have my grandfather's axe - my father put a new head on it when he inherited it and I've just put a new handle on).
