Hi Guys

This is Revelation, just a few tricks.

I've done three versions of the Video:

1) Hip Hop Version
2) Rock Version
3) Techno Version

I hope you like it ;)

I know, that there are some mistakes, and things I could do better (like the Erdnase change), but it is my first video ever made and I'm pretty new to magic. So, first time recording, first time editing. Feel free to post critics, or hints or stuff like that :D

P.S. And my english isn't the best :)

ok when you mean you have done 3 versions of the video you mean you have put up 3 videos which are all the same apart from the music?????

some of the tricks are looking good but there are a few that need a bit more work.

have fun tkof

pretty good, keep up the practise. the very last switch was very poor, needs to be a bit faster and smoother

Don't do changes with a white bordered deck and a tiger card. It makes it extremely obvious.

You need a bit more practice on the changes though. Although a spectator might not notice how you did it, I always feel better when I'm able to fool a magician and that's what everyone should aim for I believe. After all, that's the only way you'll be able to sell tricks if you become pro and sell stuff. You'll have to be able to fool the magician and spectator so that they'll want to buy it off you

@ stitchie18

Jeah I know, gotta go and practise it.

@stevebo

Ok (note to myself: NEVER EVER do changes with a white bordered deck and black tiger cards. never.)

In my opinion, it is very hard to fool magicians, because they look very close at the certain actions on a trick like, "is the DL correct?" "is the erdnase change smooth enough?" and spectators just wanna have fun and see something cool. But I keep on trying, till I'm able to fool _all_ of you :)

But thanks for all comments!

I don't agree with stevebo.

With practice you can make a change work with any cards and as in my experience most cards at people's houses have white boarders its good to learn with these.

Also, I think there was only one change when the boarder could be seen (BTW that was the thing that needs the most practice IMHO)

EDIT: Sorry you probably don't mean colour changes. Still top changes etc can be done well tith boardered decks.

Cheers,

Chris Pitt (AKA Pitto)

I know exactly what you mean, the second bottom deal, when I performed it, I haven't seen, how bad it was done... But I can do it much better !!

What I mean is, with a white bordered deck, the whole of the side of the deck is white and vice versa with a black deck. So if you do, lets say a Tenkai change, and a black bordered card is placed on top of the deck, the border is black whereas the side of the deck is white. Which IMO looks weird.

I know what you mean, and thought about it yesterday. And I think you are completely right. Only do Color Changes with a white bordered card and a white bordered card and vice versa with black. It _really_ looks weird.

Btw: Yesterday, I went to the birthday of a friend of mine. By coincidence, I took two packets of Bicycles with me... After about 2 hours (I helped cleaning up the room), when all guests (just about 12 >_<) arrived, I've done a small Erdnase CC... It blew them away.. The next 40 minutes, I was doing some Routines :)
