doubled cards

In tricks where using DS tape you have doubled up cards:

They'll never be perfect. Just from handling they'll have different bends.
What do you do with specs who stick their face to t he table trying to look for DLs and doubled cards :?:

dont use doubled cards?

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. - Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989..

I see the problem, as some tricks, really use sticky cards. Now, I would try to get around that, to avoid using those kind of tricks, or find another way of achieving the same thing. Now, I use this for ONE trick only, and that's my oil&water routine (ok, that was a small reveal :) ) but, i would never use TAPE. Even though tape is thin, it's not thin enough to make it invisible. Get yourself some sticky spray stuff, and you are very fine.

Hmm. What's this sticky spray stuff? I haven't heard of it
Have any links?

I assume it's easy to separate during the trick too right?

If you're hving trouble with the cards having different bends in them when stuck together then try a fresh deck of cards.

I'm not sure what you all have against the DS idea. I've got some fantastic tricks that use it. The one I've been playing with recently is the David Regal's "Fill In The Blank Transpo". I did it on one of the regulars at the pub I work in last night and he said:

Woah! You ain't right!

I think you should use any and all means to get the reactions you want and perform the effects you want. If this means getting hold of certain gimmicks and devices then so be it!!!
