That's a wierd trick. It's cool...But wierd. Where did you learn it? Is it angle sensitive?

Thanks,
Dominick

Weird mate, not wierd. Wierd is weird.

Anyway, nice one arkos. I have an old magic book where this is explained, and I once tried to learn it and couldn't figure out the required finger positions. Nicely done!

There are a few more tricks using this technique, assuming this is done how I think it is. For example the book says that it's possible to put out a lit match the same way, so you can hold up a match and blow down the other sleeve and the match will go out.

Kati

P.S. Not sure it's 100% angle-proof - I don't think having people watching from behind would be good.

Heheheheh

My grandad used to do this for us when we were little...

He used to play with matches a lot... did anyone else's grandad used to do the 'Horsey, c**k your tail up' trick?

Hey Kati, yes really any angle is fine, its not the way you think it is, yet you have given me an idea still with the lit match :P im just not sure how i would go about doing it with 2 like i have in my vid, dont want to burn my fingers :D

Kati, is it perhaps a book by Nick Einhorn? If it is, I have it also. I got it when I was small

Nah, it's a Martin Gardner. I read a lot of his stuff for the maths - nothing to do with magic - and several of the books have sections on some effects. There are some gems in it actually - how about 3 spectators select cards and lose them in the deck (really, no controls!). The three selections then appear in the middle of the pack paperclipped together!

Ahem,

JEDI MIND TRICK

Do you have to be a Jedi Matser to do this or will 'Padawan' status do>?

Does this trick also use the 'dark side' of the force?
