gravity defying coin

i went to a place n a guy show mi a coin magic
he drops a coin with one hand(assuming rite) n catch it with another hand(assuming left) below the rite hand
then he says u seen coin falling but did u ever seen coin flying upwards?
then he tilts upwards his left hand a little, really a little
then the coin flew up
how????could he use prop

Maybe he did use a gimmick...

But the REAL way to do this is called a Muscle Pass. It's a move similar to using the Classic Palm, except sheer muscle exertion on the coin's edges causes it to shoot upwards out of the palm. Made famous by John Cornelius in his 'Coin that falls up' routine.

Thanks for the concern, but I did think quite carefully about the reply...

Truth is, the muscle pass is so difficult to master, that a begiccian will spend months trying to do it, and at the very least you will need more guidance.

It's not really revealing a secret - it's more of a pointer in the right direction.

more to the point, the amount of time and effort it takes to make a coin jump even one inch will put most people off, i've been trying for months and my record is 3 inches!! :mrgreen:

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. - Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989.. :mrgreen:

Youd never see me making money dissapear from my hand... its hard enough to get it out of my wallet!!!!!!!!!!
Having said that, i can make my dads money disappear from HIS wallet
