I hate that too. I've moved to keeping my coins in baggies and pulling them out just before performing. Then returning them to the baggie. It's too expensive to keep spending them.
I feel for ya pal!

Hint: Buy a coin purse or coin wallet. ALWAYS put the coin in there when you finish performing.
Spending gaffed money is an expensive mistake, lol... i.e. £16 for a 10p?

How's this for a trick. I spent a gaffed 10p in my local shop { by mistake}
and about two weeks later was given a gaffed 10p back in my change. unbelievable.
I've also spent pound coins 50p's etc. Now I've developed a habit of checking my coins before I spend them which is a bit compulsive lol.
Someone asked what I was doing once and I replied ' looking for magic coins' the look I got was one of pity but at least they didn't try to get me sectioned!
