If you want cards there's Born To Perform by Oz Pearlman..you can get it from Penguin Magic...(not that we like the company very much though but the DVD is great)

Noooooooooooo...

As point said Born To Perform is the best DVD for cards IMHO - I don't know of any DVDs that do cards and coins and everything else, I think you will have to get several DVDs.

I can recommend How to do Street Magic by Ellusionist (here). It is a very thorough DVD that covers some Cards, Coins, make a glass go through a table, and some basic but very cool beginner flourishes.

I was born with Multiple Personality Disorder. Luckily, they are all me, they just dont always get along...

Personally, for cards, I'd recommend Daryl's Encyclopedia of Card Slights and The Royal Road to Card Magic DVD series. I also like Richard Kaufman's Basic Card Techniques and On the Pass. They're awesome. In the last three months I've gone from zero to hero with cards. Seriously, people were absolutely stunned by the beginner slights. In fact, I was stunned watching them on the DVD and finding out how easy it was to learn. With the first's of these DVD's you'll be able to pull of several sight of hand tricks within days.

I say days because I like to practice before I show it off. However, don't get me wrong, I am no where near mastery, but these DVDs were good starts to get me on my way.

For a beginner, I'd simply recommend Jay Sankey's 45. Plus a copy of Royal Road (the book) and Bobo's coin magic (book).

I can't comment on the ellusionist stuff, and I kind of guessed most people would suggest 'born to perform' (yawn, ;))

Also worth considering are Ammars' 'easy to master' DVDs, at a later stage. And possibly, if the bug REALLY gets to you, the excellent Cutting Edge Cards and Coins with Jason Dean and John Born.

Ignore the temptation to buy 'packet tricks' for a while, as your time will much better spent learning a few basic moves, which is the foundations given to you in the Royal Road book and the Bobo's Modern Coin Magic book.

Good luck!
