Although my mate is on the rowing team, just not big or strong enough to actually make it into the boat for the race

I was told to be a rower once because of my height. Some girl came upto me at uni and said i should join the team. I think i acknowledged it for a second, gave it a quick thought, and then went and got drunk, and promptly forgot about it for about 10 months. Hey maybe Oxford could have won if only i had joined.....
