Stigmata | Wayne Houchin

This is the new thing at ellusionist...

http://www.ellusionist.com/order/stigmata.php

In the trailer you never get to see the actual "drawing" on the arm... they say anytime anywhere without any preparation... sounds weird...

so... any words?

I think it's the same effect on Banachek's Psi series Vol.2.

I've heard that Banachek has been involved with this DVD - which I must admit really suprised me as it's an Ellusionist release - however, if it's based on one of his effects then i guess that explains it!

Banacheck talks about it on the demo video at Ellusionist. The effect sounds really cool.

Ok I checked out:

This effect first published in a magazine by Banachek. He told that some other similar effects are on market too. He uses same effect with any letter or initials; but Wayne Houchin came up with a simple effect with this: "getting a selected card to your arm".
So Banachek explains this in his PSI Series Vol.2, giving credit to Houchin for this variation.
But now, Wayne has come up with a dvd: the original effect of this move (I think he will show some variations though), and with same price Banacheck's PSI Vol2. I call this irony.. :)

 Call me suspicious, but until I see it performed live I think I have some reservations with the idea... sounds hauntingly like an elaborate version of "Ashes in the Palm" to me.

If it happens the way he discribes it, I think it could be down right awesome in the right hands (in the "right" hands, it could be the basis for starting a cult).

I feel an email coming on all of the sudden... "Dear Steve, what the heck... "

You don't need anything special to do the writing. But getting information is the tricky part here, so we need full demo of it.. :D

I don't think they'll post a new video other than that, but let's hope so. But if they don't post a new one, I'm pretty sure how he done that. :(
